Day 2 in a few words, easier than day 1. Started out hilly but the overcast was nice for the first 40 miles. Then the middle of a hill the heat wave hit like running into a open stove.
The day was longer but the hills we easier, but still a lot of them. Rex and I decided to blow through the last few towns after a nice pork chop and a big piece of strawberry rhubarb pie. We got to Carroll early and ready for some food and to head downtown.
Day 3 should be easier only 1100 ft of climb, but 70 miles.
Stay tuned!
