Today got up for the gym debating on if I could run or not. I still have a bruise from something on my left foot right side of my heal. I decided to at least try a mile. I got on did a 2 minute walk to warm up, and ran a mile, 9:07 for the first one. Well after the first mile I wasn’t in any pain, probably cause I was blocking it out. So I went for mile two without stopping, I increased my sapped and went for it. I got 2 miles in 17:48 (1-9:07 and 2- 8:41) It felt great to run non stop for 2 miles, which doesn’t seem very far but for a non runner like my self it does.
The last time I ran 2 miles if was run half a mile and walk and catch my breath and then run another half and stop…so my training I think is going good. If I keep up the pace I am hoping to run 3 miles but next month.
I got my shoulders and back lifts in today, was going to swim BUT my shoulders feel like jello so I’ll sit I. The sauna to sweat some and be done.
