Monday morning, I think is the most difficult morning to get up out of bed at 4:40 AM to go to the gym. I just got done with the weekend of not going to the gym until 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. When I woke up at 4:40, I snoozed until 4:45, and then sat up for a second, had that idea in my head…well I could go back to sleep and go to the gym tonight or I could just go now and get it out of the way.
Here is what I thought about in the long minute pause…
I could go back to sleep now, and get back up at 6:00 when I need to be up anyways for work, and then have to hassle with getting to the gym at night. I think most of us would agree that one more hour of sleep isn’t going to be enough and I will wake up feeling tired as I did at 4:40, and missing out on the gym. Anyways, I did get up to go to the gym. My foot wasn’t feeling the greatest, so I only ran a mile (8.32) for time, and then jumped on the Elliptical afterwards for 20 minutes. I am thinking of going back tonight and Wednesday nights to do 2 nights of swimming. The mornings the pool is so full, that I wouldn’t want to hassle with (plus the bonus will be double workout days).
