In November, for Book Pub the group chose Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult. I would rate the book maybe a 7 or 8 out of 10. It took a little bit to get into it. The background of the book is a man that likes to live with wolves ends up in a car crash with his daughter and is on life support. His son is the decision maker and a huge fight between the daughter and the son about if they should end his life or not. There are a few twists and secrets that come out in the book as well. The writing style was ok, each chapter it was a different person talking and the when it was the father’s turn it was flashbacks to him living with wolves. I think I could have done without those…BUT they did provide some back story to the rest of the book. It was a longer book that usual, but if you are looking for a book to read I would recommend it…BUT only if you are ok with reading about 15-20% of the book before the story really picks up. At-least I can say this. It was not a waste of my time to read it as it still was a decent book.
